"I know this sounds nuts but I have bought several high end air filtration / purification systems and they are all motorised with fans and HEPA filters etc. etc. and compared to this they are rubbish. I just don't get how this works. It sits there doing apparently nothing. The side of the box shows a graph with particulates (pollen, pet dander etc.) dropping heavily by week2 and virtually eliminated by week4. There's no fans, moving parts or anything it just sits there. Yet make no mistakle whatsoever it is waaay more effective. I was so dissapointed not to see it doing something or working or making a noise I swapped it out for a fan/ion based filer system and I noticed the difference with a couple of days. For the WORST !!! So I swapped them around again. If you're a bloke you're going to be dissapointed ... you won't seeing anything happening at all. However give it two weeks and you will sleep and breathe far easier. It's great, I'll be buying another soon."

"This Airfree P125 Platinum purifier works a treat, it stopped my son coughing all night within 48 hours, stopped ME from coughing all day within 48 hours. It is intended to be a stationary item, (ie, not to be moved from place to place), for maximum benefit, but, at this price, you have to buy one & move it around to see what benefits you gain from it, and the benefits are easy to see." If you, or someone in your household, suffers from asthma, and you live in a polluted area (ie. the S.E. of England, among others) this is a MUST HAVE (even if you have to sell the dog to pay it), ask for it as a Christmas present from your Parents/Grandparents/Inlaws ANYONE, but get one!!! I cannot recommend it highly enough, it's fantastic, and i shall be purchasing more (as soon as i can afford it), as, ideally, you'd need one in every room, not all of this size though, they do come in smaller (and cheaper forms).

As a Physician specialising in allergy and environmental medicine, I am very impressed with the Airfree Air Steriliser for the purpose of removing molds and their spores from the air we breathe. These sterilisers work by using localised heat to sterilise the indoor air and encourage the circulation of cleaned air throughout the room. It does not require filters. This last point is important as all air filtration systems eventually block up with dust and mold, and this has the long-term effect of redistributing the molds throughout the room and is counterproductive. As a sufferer from an allergy to mold, I am very impressed with this machine as a way of keeping the air free of allergens. As a result of using an Airfree Steriliser in my bedroom for the last three months, I no longer wake up with depression and cold shakes from the mold spores that one would otherwise breath during the night. This is a vast improvement. (I understand that it takes about 6 weeks for the Airfree to have its full effect, presumably because it has to sterilise the air in the room over a period of time. In this connection one should not move it from room to room, it is better left static in one place where it will work its magic.)
I also installed an Airfree in my kitchen, which I consider to be a natural mold trap because of the steam from cooking and various vegetable items which are kept in the environment.
I have noticed that since the Airfree was installed, my basil plants now survive instead of dying instantly, and that they are not afflicted with mold, either on the earth or on their leaves. They even survive having bits taken off in the usual way and are thriving. Also my onions don’t go moldy.
Overall I feel the Airfree has contributed greatly to the reduction in the mold count in parts of my house (in which there was previously a problem due to the damp British climate.) It has also contributed to an increase in my mental and physical energy and stamina. I can wholeheartedly recommend this machine for anybody with a serious allergy to mold and other airborne allergens. Also I recommend it to my patients with this problem.

Exceptional machine
This machine successfully removed the aspergillis mold from my room. I have serious lung disease and am highly allergic to mold- i did a mold test before and after having it in place for 1 week- and it worked wonders- mold was gone! i haven't even explored what other benefits it has, ie smells etc- i'm so happy with this result.

Works on mold and mildew allergy
This device works on mold in the air. I could tell the pretty impressive effect within about twenty four hours. This version is more powerful than another one, the P100, that I have tried and that one also worked very well. This one is the most powerful they have right now and the column of warm air is slightly more intense than on the lower powered one. This one produces enough heated convection to notice if you put your hand about four inches above it. It still isn't what I would call hot though or even very warm. The blue light is still a good warning not to drape something over it which of course you're not supposed to do! The main thing is how long it will last as it is meant to run continuously. So far after a month there are no problems. This took care of the basement mold allergy problem in a 12 by 20 foot room. There was nothing to assemble. It comes out of the box and you plug it in where nothing can block the top vent and that's it. One of the most useful things I've bought in a while.

I was skeptical at first
I was skeptical at first but was won over by this product. I originally bought the air purifier to help our family's allergies and sinus problems. It was hard to believe that a product that has no filters, nothing to clean or wash off, could actually work. My brother-in-law who has a severe allergy to dogs has never been able to spend more than an hour or two at our house. Since we got our air purifier, he has been able to spend several hours at our house without any symptoms or discomfort. I'm a believer!

Asthma fix
Having recently been diagnosed with asthma I was anxious to find a good air purifier for my bedroom. I opted for the Airfree Onix 3000 because it was not only rated highly but, amazingly, required no maintenance. Within a matter of hours after plugging it in I noticed that the air smelled a lot fresher and the first morning after having the purifier in my room I woke up with almost no congestion in my nose (a first!)so it must be doing a good job of getting rid of the allergens. The best part is that because I am a light sleeper it's wonderful to have a purifier that is totally silent. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the anti-stress light but it's kind of a pretty so I may just leave it on. It's too early to comment on this product's longevity but I am extremely happy with it so far. So happy, in fact, that I am ordering 2 more for other parts of our house.

I've had the Onix 3000 for 4 months now and was diagnosed 4 months ago with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and I'm headed next week for my last chemo treatment...I believe the air purifier was one of the contributing factors in early healing treatment...My course of chemo treatments was 8 chemo sessions...My Dr. confirmed recently that I was cancer free and would only need 6 sessions...Again I believe one of the contributing factors was the Onix 3000...Thank you Airfree for inventing this great air purifier...I also have the Austin Healthmate Jr working in combination with my Onix 3000...By the way I need a air filter for my Austin Healthmate...It's time... It Works!
I purchased this because my home contained visable mold and who knows what's hidden behind the drywall. In addition, the lower level of the home often had a funny smell (not really moldy, just funny, kind of earthy), and since I moved, the dog and cat are really itchy. I read one of the reviews for this product on another site where someone had a mold remediator come in 4 times and it didn't work, so I decided to try this first, since it's cheaper, and it is supposed to remove more than just mold. I plugged this in in the family room on the lower level. It originally gives off a mild burning smell that subsides after a few days. Soon, the lower level of my home had no more funny smells and both the cat and dog prefer to sleep in that room as opposed to all other rooms. I just ordered a second one for the mid level of my home and plan to get a smaller one for the bedroom. I'm very pleased with it. Don't know that it got rid of the mold, but it did get rid of the smell and both the dog and cat think it's doing a good thing, since they had no interest in that room prior to the Airfree. To me, that says a lot.
Ok, had to edit this because I got the second airfree for the living room level and that's been running about 2 weeks now. They say it takes a month to work, but my itchy dog, who had rubbed all the hair off her eye and had large scabs on her rear by her tail (the vet was the one who originally put the air purifier idea in my head) has stopped rubbing her face, her eye's no longer red and it appears that the hair's even making an effort to regrow and all the scabs on her rear are gone! She's not on any meds for this either so that's not the cause of her improvement. This is more than I could have hoped for. She's much more comfortable and will now hang with us in the livingroom. I just ordered a small one for my bedroom. Now we'll see how it does on my morningtime stuffy nose :-) Ps. still no funny smells on the lower level!

That might sound too good to be true, but it's not.
My daughter suffers from indoor allergies such as dust and dust mites, as well as food allergies. Her doctor told us she really needed to have an air purifier, a really good one.
I wasn't sure how we were going to do that, since really good air purifiers come with a really high price tag.
I did my research and I found that the Airfree air purifiers reduce mold, dust mite allergens, pollens, pet danders, bacteria, viruses, among other indoor pollutants.

I bought this for my mom because we found mold in her bedroom and I think it was causing her to have really bad allegies. Our AirFree Platinum 2000 fits neatly in the corner of a basement classroom, where the kids spend several hours each day. I have been researching Air Cleaners for about a year and was set on getting an IQair cleaner when I saw a review on the AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier. I was intrigued that the Airfree was using new technology that used heat to clean the air and required no filters so my annual costs would be a lot less than the IQair's. Since I wanted to put this in my bedroom the Airfree being completely quiet while the IQair was 48db at it's lowest setting was an important factor in the airfree's favor also. The Airfree is also small in size which made my wife happy as she was not crazy about putting something like the IQair that reminded her of a small furnace or refrigerator in her bedroom. Maybe they should make these things in wood tones like Cherry wood, well anyway I received the AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier from Sylvane a couple of days ago and plugged it in right away. Now I wait to see if the airfree will do the trick. The only way I'll be able to tell if it's doing the job (since there are no filters I can take out and look at) is if my sinuses clear up, which may take a week to as much as a month according to the instructions. My wife likes the soft blue light shining out the top as it gives us a nice nightlight. Will it work as well as the IQair probably not but if it does a reasonable job it will be worth it considering all the advantages I listed above.
My wife and I are very happy with our purchase so far. I also would like to thank Sylvane for providing lots of info on their website and making my purchase and delivery easy and problem free :).

Our daughter has asthma, caused by a dust mite allergy. From the age of 1 year she has been treating her asthma with a cortisone inhaler and antihistamines. At one point, we had to spend a few weeks in a clinic for respiratory treatment, but still she had a lot of problems, like waking up early in the morning because she had to cough or she couldn't breath properly etc. She often had bronchitis, therefore couldn't go to school, doctor visits kept us very busy and she had to go through all kind of tests... I love my Airfrees. I have one in each bedroom and one in the kitchen and hope to get at least one or two more for the living room and basement area.
We cleaned our kitchen ourselves with the help of Airfree and the post test came back with no fungi detected. Even remediators tell you if they remediate the spore count will go down but the post test will more than likely still show some spores as it can't be eliminated completely. I guess they haven't heard about Airfree. It certainly lives up to its reputation and there definitely are no mold spores in this kitchen. I even did a couple of swab tests on my own to double check and they also came back completely clean.
In addition, my husband used to snore terribly at night and since Airfree has been in the bedroom I noticed I am sleeping better as his snoring has gotten less and less and now has actually stopped. Whatever was causing the stuffy nose which led to the snoring has been eliminated. I presume whatever allergen was causing this was wiped out by Airfree.
Everyone should have at least one in their home.

I purchased 8 Airfree units and placed them in Big House of Houmas House Plantation and Gardens. They were placed in each of the 4 main rooms on the first floor and one in each of the bedrooms on the second floor of the Mansion.

After several years of worsening pain, I made the decision to have my hips replaced. This required two separate operations and two separate hospitalizations.
My surgeon indicated the greatest danger was not the surgery, but the risk of infection while recuperating in the hospital. Accordingly, I discussed the use of an Airfree unit with him.

I live in a one-bedroom condo in an older building on Miami Beach, with my girlfriend. Since moving there we have always experienced a large amount of dust and other particles circulating around the condo.
We currently have the Air Free in our living-room where our 10 Week old English Bulldog puppy hangs out in. Let me tell you the Air Free has made a huge difference. No smell and no more dust. The best part about the Air Free is that its completely silent.

I'm not quite sure how this is working as I got it for my office at work. I have asthma and allergies and my office is seeming like a very "sick" place (mold was found and taken care of but I am suspicious of it growing back). I think I would really notice the benefits of a purifier if I got one at home as well. [...] It's also completely silent, compact, and no maintenance. I would buy this again.
My assistant and I moved into a new office in the fall. We spent the entire winter and early spring passing a respiratory infection back and forth. After placing the airpurifier in the office, within days all the coughing and sneezing stopped. I am going to buy one for my bedroom next.

Does a great job.
I have used various air purifiers over the years and for the money this is by far the best one yet. Has totally cleared the mold from my office. I have one at home as well. I like it.

Works great. I bought three.
I used to have coughing fits to the degree I would throw-up. Now I never cough and another benifit that I noticed is that I am sleeping 100% better. I used to toss and turn all night, but now I sleep like a log.

Great product.
Great product. We have 14' ceilings, so it's not as efficient as it could be, but it does work. It just takes longer. For normal ceilings, it probably works perfectly.

my daughter's nose ran every single day, the product states that it will take a couple of weeks to see results, my daughter's runny nose was gone within three hours of plugging in the air free, the runny nose has not came back, that was over a month ago, well worth the price if anyone in your house suffers from allergies.

I bought this product and wanted to share my feedback in this forum. It has dramaitcally increased the "breatheability" of my air. I suffer from MCS, astham, and severe allergies, and the use of this product has helped tremendously...and even allowed me to reduce the amount of medication I take! It has already paid for itself!
Cleared up the itchy/puffy morning eyes.

Overall very satisfied with the product. The wife's asthma attacks are much improved and my eyes aren't swollen shut in the morning anymore from allergies/dust mites/mold or whatever the heck it was that was bothering me (I am highly allergic). I was able to tell with my eyes within the first couple days, though per the literature it can take a couple weeks to get the entire room well sterilized.

"My house has mold problems. Hopefully, they have been dealt with (again!) but I've had severe dizziness and sinus problems for 5 months which even antibiotics wouldn't stop. I have tried many brands of air cleaners/sterilizers, none of which alleviated my symptoms. 2 Germ Guardians seemed to help but not enough and I don't like their fan noise. I bought the Onix 3000 for my bedroom, expecting to wait a week for relief. Relief started within hours. By morning, my sinus trouble had eased (without meds) and my dizziness was almost gone. By day 3, all symptoms were gone as long as I stayed mostly in my room. Since this worked so quickly, I ordered 2 Onix 1000 units, planning to place them in bedrooms and move the Onix 3000 to a larger living area. I received them yesterday but since I have only been symptom-free for just over 1 week, I hesitate to make the change. I plugged the smaller units in other areas, will see how well they work, then decide which size units to buy for my basement. Every winter I have struggled with sinus trouble and its many side effects. It is wonderful to wake up refreshed and ready to greet the day instead of hoping to be able to drag through it in a drug-induced stupor. Thanks, Onix!"

"I admit I was skeptical at first but I read all the specs and was intrigued so I thought I'd give this a try. My son was a "croupy baby" meaning he got the croup and then would get a croupy-type cough every time he got sick. Ever since I put this in his room, he really hasn't had many bad colds or croupy coughs, and that was two years ago now. It's hard to say that this is the only source of his relief, but I am sure not going to take it out of his room. Based on my experience, I definitely recommend."
